Shigeki Otsuka is a Head of Human Resources of Japan Activation Capital.

Prior to joining Japan Activation Capital, he was a Senior Vice President of Nikko Asset Management (current Amova Asset Management; “Nikko AM“). He had been an HR Business Partner (“HRBP”) at Nikko AM for 11 years, mainly covering the Investment Management Division, as well as leading new graduate recruitment.

Prior to Nikko AM, he worked as an HRBP focusing on the front office at Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse, as well as other HR functions at HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Cathay Pacific Airways, totaling over 30 years of HR experience.

Mr. Otsuka received a B.A. in Sociology from Keio University.
