Former Chairman of CDP Worldwide Japan, EY Senior Partner Head of APAC M&A Advisory and Japan Markets, Deloitte Senior Partner Head of Global Strategy Office and Corporate Finance Advisory and Global Advisory Council Member.

KT began his career at Price Waterhouse NY in 1992 (Japan since 1999).He joined Carlyle Group in 2001, and subsequently served as Chief Investment Officer of CDP Capital and WebHut Holdings from 2003 to 2007. From 2008 to 2018, he was a Senior Partner at Deloitte, where he led Global M&A practice and was a member of global firm wide leadership based in Tokyo, London, and Singapore. From 2018 to June of 2024, at EY, he was a member of the Global Executive Committee, Head of EYSaT Japan Markets, and Head of EY Investment Banking Asia Pacific Region. He has been passionately active in talent and leadership development such as being a Dean of Deloitte University Leadership Development Programs and a Founder and Dean of Building Relationship Capital.

KT also serves as Visiting Professor of Hitotsubashi ICS MBA Program and as board member and senior/executive advisor to various global businesses and organizations. He is a US CPA (New York)
