Joseph Arthur Kraft formerly held the position of Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and Bank of America. 

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1964. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1986, Mr. Kraft joined Morgan Stanley’s headquarters in New York. In 1987, he was assigned to the firm's Tokyo office, and by 2000, he had served as Co-Head of Foreign Exchange for Asia and Managing Director of Fixed Income Trading. In 2010, he became Deputy Branch Manager and Head of Foreign Exchange at the Tokyo branch of Bank of America. In 2015, he founded Rorschach Advisory Inc. and assumed the position of President and CEO. 

Mr. Kraft currently serves as an Outside Director for Sony Group Corporation, Tokyo Electron Limited, and SBI FX Trade Co., Ltd. In addition, he has assumed the role of Vice President and Honorary Professor at Tokyo International University since November 2024.
