Hirokazu Tanaka is a Managing Director, HR Strategy Specialistof Japan Activation Capital.

Prior to joining Japan Activation Capital, he served as Executive Officer, CHRO at LegalOn Technologies, Inc. He has experience launching global HR functions and strategies at Toyota Motor Corporation, Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., Mizuho Financial Group, Inc., and SBI Shinsei Bank, Ltd. He held various HR management positions at these companies, with over 10 years of experience as a Head of Human Resources in total.

Mr. Tanaka received a B.A. in Economics from Kyoto University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
